Huawei nova 2s official: full screen, Kirin 960, four cameras and 6GB RAM

This afternoon, Huawei has held a new product conference to officially launch its full screen smartphone – the Huawei nova 2s in Beijing.

High appearance is the Huawei nova 2s’ one selling point. The nova 2s adopts dual glass and metal middle framework design. The Huawei nova 2s provides facial-to-unlock function within seconds. The phone will provide blue, pink, gold, gray, obsidian black and red four color options. The former four color variants will first be on sale in the market. It boosts of narrow chin and comes with fingerprint reader on the front.

The Huawei nova 2s features a 6.0-inch (2,160×1.080 pixels) full screen with the screen ratio of 18:9 and is powered by Kirin 960 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. The nova 2s comes with the 20MP and 2MP dual front cameras which bring more real bokeh effect alongside the 20MP and 16MP dual camera setup which has dual F/1.8 aperture and supports PDAF. The smartphone sports a 3,240mAh battery. It runs on EMUI 8.0.

The Huawei nova 2s will be available in three variants: 4GB+64GB variant is for CNY 2,699 (approximately $410), 6GB+64GB variant for CNY 2,999 (approximately $455), and 6GB+128GB variant for CNY 3,399 (approximately $516). The phone has started the pre-orders today and it will be officially on sale on December 12.
