The previously leaked picture suggests that the Xiaomi Mi 6X adopts all-metal body. Now, a Chinese weibo user has exposed a set of pictures of the phone on weibo.
From the exposed picture, the Mi 6X adopts the full-screen design which is similar to the Redmi 5 Plus’, and it has high screen ratio. The phone comes with the vertical dual camera setup on the rear. The smartphone features fingerprint reader on the back. It will be Xiaomi‘s first phone to be launched in 2018.
Xiaomi Mi 6X is said to be powered by Xiaomi’s in-house Surge S2 processor. The Surge S2 chip is expected to be built on TSMC’ 16nm manufacturing process. It will consist of four A73 cores up to 2.2GHz and four A53 cores up to 1.8GHz. The chip’s GPU is Mali G71MP8. The Surge S2 supports UFS2.1 and LPDDR4.
Xiaomi Surge S2 chip is much likely to make its appearance on MWC 2018. Mi 6X is estimated to be the first phone to be powered by Surge S2 processor.
