Chinese smart phone maker, Xiaomi, has decided to work with a smart phone designer, Phillipe Starck. Phillipe Starck is a popular designer who helped Xiaomi to design the Xiaomi Mi MIX. The Xiaomi Mi MIX smart phone is well-known for its high screen-to-body ratio. Phillipe Starck is the designer who designed the Xiaomi Mi MIX which has 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Xiaomi is however ready to work with Phillipe Starck in designing a more sophisticated Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. There have been rumors that the phone will have a 100 percent screen-to-body ratio. While other smart phone makers are focusing on all sorts of innovative features, Xiaomi is focusing on implementing a 100 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Although the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 was announced a few months ago, November 2016, the smart phone is yet to be released. The smart phone will support a range of networks, including: the 2G, the 3G and the 4G network. The upcoming Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 will be a dual SIM smart phone which will use standard SIM cards. The dual SIM smart phone will have an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The screen will be 6.44-inch and will have a picture resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2’s screen will however support over 16 million colors. The smart phone will be equipped with a 4GB Random Access Memory. It will feature a 64 GB internal memory which is expandable. The dual SIM smart phone will also have an accelerometer and a proximity sensor. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is expected to run the Android 6.0 operating system. It will be equipped with an 8MP front camera and 13MP rare camera. The smart phone will be powered by a Li-Ion battery.
