Galaxy A02 and M02 Listed On Bluetooth SIG Site With Bluetooth V5.0

Today, a new device (from Samsung) has been listed on Bluetooth SIG Certification. The device carries a model number “SM-A022” and “SM-M022”, which points us that this device is Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A02 (Galaxy M02 in some regions). It would be the cheapest Android smartphone from Samsung.

In the certification, it is mentioned that the device is equipped with Bluetooth V5.0, which is still not the latest one but comes with almost all the features, which are necessary. There are lots of model numbers mentioned in the listing, which are the following:

The Galaxy A02 will be launched as a rebranded version of Galaxy M02 in some regions, where the M series is available. This certification applicant is Samsung Electronics Company Limited, and it got listed on 14th January (today).

Previously, the device also got listed on the Geekbench, which confirmed that this smartphone would be powered by Qualcomm’s low-end “MT6739WW” chipset, a quad-core processor consists of Cortex-A53 cores, clocked @1.5GHz.

It is also expected that the device would feature a 6.5 inches TFT Display with HD+ resolution (1600x720p). A triple camera setup (13+2+2MP) is also expected on the rear side. On the front side, there is a single 5MP camera expected in the notch.

A bigger battery, around 5000mAh, will be one of the main highlights of the phone. Some reports also claim that this time the cheapest Samsung android phone may come with a 15W charger. It is expected that it would be available in the following storage variants: 3+32GB & 4+64GB.

For now, there is no official information regarding the launch of Galaxy A02/M02.
