Mediatek’s MT6893 AnTuTu Benchmark Scores Revealed: More Than Snapdragon 865

It was reported that MediaTek is planning to launch the all-new 6nm (manufacturing process) chipsets after the launch of its Dimensity 700 5G, which was based on the 7nm manufacturing process. A few days ago, the chipset MT6893 was discovered on the AnTuTu Benchmark in the background.

Surprisingly, its total running score was more than the Snapdragon 865 standard version (with max frequency: 2.84GHz). This chipset’s prototype device has scored 622,409 points. Its competitor SD 865 scored about 611K points.

The prototype device with MT6893 chipset was equipped with the following specifications:

It is expected that the current running score does not represent the final performance of this SoC, and there should be further improvements in the future. It can be seen that SD 865 chipset has scored more points in terms of CPU & UX. The phone used for comparing with MT6893 chipset is Oppo’s Find X2 Pro.

As previously reported, the chipset MT6893 is an octa-core chipset with a 6nm manufacturing process. The chipset consists 1x Cortex-A78 Super-Core (@3.0GHz), 3x Cortex-A78 cores (@ 2.6GHz), and 4x Cortex-A55 energy-efficient cores (@ 2.0GHz). The chipset uses Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.

The launch of the chipset is expected soon. MediaTek may launch an all-new chipset series with a new name for its 6nm chipset.
