MediaTek MT6893 SoC Specifications Leaked: 4xCortex-A78, 4xCortex-A55 and Mali-G77 MC9

After launching the 7nm process 5G chip – Dimensity 700, MediaTek said that it will release a 6nm process 5G chip.

At present, MediaTek’s high-end flagship SoC is Dimensity 1000 Plus, and related terminals are successively listed. The company is preparing a new SoC to replace Dimensity 1000+.

At present, a model of alps k6893v1_64 appeared on the Geekbench benchmark website. Geekbench 5 shows that this model with 8GB of RAM and Android 11 system is equipped with an ARM MT6893Z/CZA processor, with a basic frequency of 2.00 GHz, a single-core score of 886, and a multi-core score of 2948.

According to Digital Chat Station, MediaTek has at least three 6nm SoCs, including MT6891, MT6893, and MT6895. Among them, MT6893 will be released first. This chip will be manufactured by TSMC. The blogger also revealed the specific specifications of this chip.

According to digital blogger @Didital Chat Station, this new MediaTek SoC uses TSMC’s 6nm process technology and has one Cortex-A78 with a frequency of 3.0GHz, three Cortex-A78 with a frequency of 2.6GHz, and four Cortex-A55 with a frequency of 2.0GHz. It will feature the Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.

Based on the specs, the AnTuTu benchmark score of this SoC is probably more than 600,000, which surpasses Dimensity 1000+ and is comparable to Snapdragon 865.
