In September 2020, Realme launched its Realme X7 series, which was quite successful in terms of sale. The Pro version in this mid-range series also features a flagship-level chipset, “Dimensity 1000+”. Recently, a new version of this series has been launched.
Today, Realme has silently launched the Extreme Edition of Realme X7 Pro. The listing on the famous Chinese E-Commerce site (JD.com) has also revealed the device’s specifications. It is observed that the new Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition only has a different display.
The all-new Realme X7 Pro features a Hyperboloid Display with the same display size (6.55 inches). The device features only a 90Hz refresh rate on Samsung’s display, unlike the Pro edition (with 120Hz). The display also got 1200nits of brightness.
The overall screen-to-body ratio is 92.1%. It is also mentioned that the device has a thickness of 7.8mm only. The overall dimensions are 159.9*73.4*7.8mm, and the weight is around 170g.
It is powered by the same chipset (Dimensity 1000+) used in Realme X7 Pro. The Dimensity 1000+ is an octa-core chipset based on a 7nm manufacturing process. It features 4x performance Cortex-A77 cores (clocked @2.6GHz) and 4x High-Efficiency Cortex-A55 cores. It also features a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.
In terms of Battery, the device features the same 65W charging with a 4500mAh Battery. The Battery has 353 hours of standby and also features five-layer protection.
The Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition features a triple camera setup on the backside with a primary 64MP lens (with f/1.8 aperture). It also features an ultra-wide 8MP lens with 119 deg and 4cm macro lens. It also got an under-display fingerprint scanner and running the latest Realme UI 2.0.
The phone also features a VC Liquid Cool system, which helps maintain peak performance, equipped with high-performance hot packs. The advanced VC Liquid Cooling soaking plate is installed to cover the core heat source and sustain.
The phone is available in two storage options: 8+128GB for 2299 yuan and 12+256GB for 2599 yuan. Moreover, there are two color options: Sky City and Black Clever Forest.
