According to previous reports, Apple is upgrading its charger to a new 20W USB-C charger for some iPhone 12 series phones, and a user has disclosed photos of the new 20W charger on the internet.
Now, the 18W and 20W chargers of the iPhone 12 series have been found to have got the 3C certification, which is manufactured by Flextronics power (Dongguan) Co., Ltd. The 18W charger model is A2382, and the 20W charger model is A2244.
Apple’s iPhone 12 will come in four models, a new 5.4-inch screen model, two 6.1-inch screen models, and a high-end 6.7-inch screen “Max” model. One of Apple’s 12 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch phones will be equipped with a three-lens and lidar system, so these may be new “Pro” models.
At the same time, a new 5W charger from Apple has got 3C certification recently. But this is not a USB-C charger.
Earlier reports said that Apple is not expected to give EarPods headphones and charger in the iPhone 12 box this year. However, this news has not been confirmed by Apple. It may take the day of official release to know whether the new iPhone will bring headphones and charger.
