EMUI 11 Officially Released: Everything You Need To Know

Today, in Huawei Developer Conference 2020, the company has revealed a lot of new things. This includes the new EMUI 11 too. Huawei has officially unveiled the all-new EMUI 11.

The company has revealed three main highlights regarding the features of EMUI 11: Art for people, New Always-On-Display, and Immersed in art themes. The new EMUI 11 has the following qualities:

The new UX design of EMUI 11 not only brings the above-mentioned features, but it also introduces a more updated “smart multi-window.” The new software version also brings a unique AudioVisual Touch interactive experience for Dynamic Effects and Multi-Sensory Collaboration. Moreover, the user’s vision and interaction is much improved and brings more efficient operations in terms of Motion Design.

The new EMUI 11 fully draws on the distributed technology of Hongmeng 2.0 to realize the interconnection of more different devices. The Multi-Screen collaboration function is also upgraded. The user can also open the multi-window of the smartphone on the Computer. In terms of privacy, EMUI 11 has added photo-sharing desensitization and privacy memo functions.

The screen sharing function is also improved. In the field of AI Functions, the new EMUI 11 also supports AI Subtitle real-time translation function. The supported languages are English, Japanese, and Korean.

It is also reported that Huawei has opened the EMUI 11 beta officially for the following models:

For some models, like Honor30, V30, and Nova7 series, the Beta update will start to roll out soon. It is also reported that more than 50 smartphone models will be updated to EMUI 11 with an estimated install capacity of over 200 million units, and an expected 90% upgrade rate.

 

Huawei has also stated that the devices which would be updated to EMUI 11 will have priority to upgrade to the Hongmeng 2.0 OS as soon as possible.
