Motorola Edge S Officially Confirmed With Snapdragon 870: Coming on 26th January

This afternoon, it was reported (through the General Manager of Lenovo) that Motorola has planned to announce something in today’s evening. The things became true as Motorola has officially confirmed its all-new upcoming flagship smartphone.

Motorola has officially confirmed the existence of its all-new Motorola Edge S, coming on 26th January. The main highlight of this phone is that it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870. The chipset is also launched this evening.

As reported, the all-new Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 is an upgraded version of Qualcomm’s previous flagship chipset series Snapdragon 865. The only difference between the previous chipset and Snapdragon 870 is that it is clocked at 3.2GHz, while the Snapdragon 865+ is clocked at 3.1GHz.

Except for this, all the specifications are the same as in Snapdragon 865+.

The all-new Motorola Edge S was already in leaks for a long time. It is known that the smartphone is equipped with a Punch-hole display. The display sizes about 6.7 inches and is packed with a Full-HD+ display (2400*1080).

In terms of camera, the phone is expected to use a 64MP lens as the primary lens. A dual 16MP front camera is also there. Inside the phone, a 5000mAh Battery has been equipped.

The all-new Motorola Edge S will be launched on 26th January.
