This afternoon, it was reported (through the General Manager of Lenovo) that Motorola has planned to announce something in today’s evening. These things have become true as Motorola has officially confirmed its upcoming flagship smartphone.
Motorola has officially confirmed that it will launch the Motorola Edge S on January 26th. The main highlight of this phone is that it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870. The chipset is also launched this evening.
As reported, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 is an upgraded version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. The only difference between the previous chipset and the Snapdragon 870 is that it is clocked at 3.2GHz, while the Snapdragon 865+ is clocked at 3.1GHz. Except for this, all the specifications are the same as the Snapdragon 865+.
The Motorola Edge S was already in leaks for a long time. It is known that the smartphone is equipped with a Punch-hole display. The display sizes about 6.7 inches and is packed with a Full-HD+ display (2400×1080).
In terms of the camera, the phone is expected to use a 64MP lens as the primary lens. A dual 16MP front camera is also there. Inside the phone, a 5000mAh battery has been equipped.
