NIO Phone Got Listed on 3C Certification with 100W Charging

A few days back, it was revealed that NIO (a Chinese car manufacturing brand) will step into the smartphone business by launching its first-ever smartphone in the upcoming launch event on September 21. Recently, we got a look at a significant leak of the device, revealing its specifications.

This morning, a device from NIO carrying model number “N2301” was listed on the 3C Certification. It is confirmed that the device belongs to the NIO Phone and supports a maximum of 100W charging. The smartphone will be equipped with a 100W charging brick with the following model number: N23061.

The charger supports charging at following modes: 15W (5V/3A), 27W (9V/3A), 45W (15V/3A), 45W (20V/2.25A) and 22.5-100W (4.5-20V/5A). The applicant for this certification is NIO Smart Technology Company Limited. Except for this, the certification didn’t consist of any information.

As per previous info, it was reported that the new NIO Phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset based on the 4nm manufacturing process. The chipset consists of Cortex-X3 Super Core (clocked @3.36GHz), Snapdragon X70 5G modem, and Adreno 740 GPU (clocked @680MHz).

The smartphone has scored around 1.36 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark, which seems similar to the OnePlus 11 standard version. The benchmark also revealed that the smartphone would be available in a 12GB+1TB storage variant. In addition, the MIIT device certification revealed that it would also be available in 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB storage variants.

The upcoming NIO Phone is expected to launch at the forthcoming NIO event on September 21.
