Royole Flexpai 2 with full specs and renders spotted on TENAA

The new foldable device from the Chinese foldable display manufacturer Royole has been spotted on TENAA. The device will be the successor to Royole FlexPai 1 and will be named Royole FlexPai 2.

According to certification documents, this phone features a 7.8-inch foldable AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The screen has 16 million colors, and the refresh rate is also expected to be improved. The dimensions of this foldable phone are approximately 186.2 x 133.8 x 6.5 mm, and it weighs about 340g.

This phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 865G processor, as certification information shows that its chipset has the same main frequency as the Snapdragon 865G. It will be available in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants with 256GB and 512GB of storage. The battery capacity is 4450 mAh and supports fast charging, but the charging speed is not mentioned.

This phone has a quad-camera system arranged vertically on the left side of the screen. The quad-camera setup includes 64MP, 8MP, 2MP, and 32MP sensors. However, the fourth sensor (32MP) is used only for selfies. This phone also supports up to 3x optical zoom.

This phone also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the lock button. It will be available in three color options: Magic Gold, Midnight Black, and Star Gray. The phone shown in the render is the Midnight Black version.

The company’s official Weibo account confirms that this foldable phone will be available on September 22.
