Recently, Vivo officially confirmed the launch of its most-awaited smartwatch series. Digital Chat Station revealed live photos of vivo’s new smartwatch and disclosed that the Watch series will be available in 42mm and 46mm sizes.
The blogger also mentioned that both watches will feature a super AMOLED display with round dials. The body of the watch will be made of stainless steel, while the straps will be made of Nappa leather.
Both watches will support the following features:
- Support 5ATM waterproof (Up to 50m)
- Calorie detection
- Independent music playback
- Continuous heart rate and blood oxygen detection
- Jovi voice
- NFC
- Mobile payment
According to the blogger, both watches will have a battery life of up to 18 days. However, neither of these watches supports Android Wear OS. They may run other operating systems (such as the one used by Samsung’s Watch series), but they can still be paired with Android smartphones.
According to our previous reports, the 42mm watch appears to be the previously leaked Vivo smartwatch with model number WA2052, while the 46mm watch appears to be the WA2056. Leaked certification information indicates that both watches only support 5W charging.
The expected price of this watch is around $150. This watch series will compete with other smartwatches from Samsung, OPPO, and Realme.
The new watch series will be officially launched at an online event on September 22.
