The launch event will be held the day before the Vivo Developer Conference 2020 (VDC 2020). Previously, there was speculation that the product might be released on VDC 2020, and the company has now officially confirmed it.

The Origin OS will replace its current Funtouch OS (on all devices) and will be a significant update over its Funtouch OS.

The company previously stated that the new Origin OS is “the pursuit of the ultimate experience after a year of meticulous refinement.” The original desktop map of Origin OS also revealed that its style has undergone significant change and is more imitative than Funtouch OS.

This design is similar to a relief, situated between two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms. The new system also offers two different styles for Android and desktop, allowing users to switch between them more freely.
