This morning, ZTE officially announced that it will launch a new version of the ZTE Axon 20. It is the world’s first phone with an under-display camera. The upcoming phone will be named ZTE Axon 20 Extreme Edition.
The ZTE Axon 20 5G Extreme Edition will be available in a new color: Shining Gold. This phone may have hardware changes, such as chipsets, camera specifications, or other hardware adjustments.
The ZTE Axon 20 5G features a mid-range Snapdragon 765G chipset. The Extreme Edition will likely feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 or a MediaTek Dimensity 1000 series chipset.
The ZTE Axon 20 has a 6.92-inch Full HD+ (2460 x 1080) display with an under-display camera. It uses OLED technology with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1B color depth.
This phone features a quad rear camera system (64MP, 8MP, 2MP, 2MP) and supports 4K video recording at 60fps. The front camera is a 32MP under-display camera. It has a 4220 mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging.
ZTE has not revealed the release date of the Axon 20 5G Extreme Edition.
