This morning, Vivo officially confirmed that the Vivo X60 series will be released soon. The company posted the launch poster and more information about the specifications on its official Weibo account.
As mentioned earlier, the vivo X60 series will feature an ultra-stable micro-head camera sensor. The company also stated that the series’ camera system is jointly developed by vivo and Zeiss, featuring Zeiss optical lenses and Micro Panel Black Light Night Vision 2.0.
The poster also includes a rendering of the device. After zooming in on the image, the camera’s details are clearly visible. The following lenses are included: a micro-head lens, two parallel lenses, and a ToF lens. The bottom of the lenses is also marked with ‘ZEISS Vario-Tessar 1.48-3.4/16-125 ASPH’.
The poster also mentions that the Vivo X60 series will feature the Exynos 1080 chipset. The chipset may be featured only on the X60 and X60 Pro. The Exynos 1080 is a 5G chipset based on a 5nm process, featuring one 2.8GHz Cortex-A78 core, three 2.6GHz Cortex-A78 cores, and four 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores, and it comes with a Mali-G78 GPU.
According to previous reports, the vivo X60 is expected to feature a 120Hz punch-hole display and run Origin OS. The Vivo X60 Pro+ will feature the Snapdragon 888 chipset.
The Vivo X60 series will be launched on December 29 (as mentioned in the official announcement).
