Asus Transformer Pad TF701T Teardown
In this guide, I will explain how to disassemble the Asus Transformer Pad TF701T to remove the LCD screen assembly, battery, rear camera, front camera, speaker, and motherboard.

Insert a plastic pry tool beneath the screen assembly. Slide the pry tool along the screen edge to separate the screen from the tablet.
When the screen opens a small gap, you can use your hands to continue separating the screen assembly.
Lift the screen assembly with your hand, disconnect the screen cable and touch cable from the motherboard, and then you can remove the screen assembly.
Once the screen is removed, you can access the battery, motherboard, speaker, and other internal components.
Disconnect the speaker cable from the motherboard.
Use a screwdriver to pry up the speaker and remove it.
Remove two screws securing the cable.
Use tweezers to remove this small circuit board, which has a charging port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Peel off the tape that secures it to remove the camera module.
The Asus Transformer Pad TF701T comes with two batteries.
Insert an old card under the battery and pry the battery upwards with a little force.
Disconnect the battery power cable from the motherboard.
Remove all screws securing the motherboard.
Remove the metal plate securing the motherboard.
Lift and remove the motherboard with your hands.
Use tweezers to remove all the metal shields on the motherboard to access the chips.
