Huawei is expected to introduce its upcoming P50 series at the end of this month. As the expected time approaches, more details about the new flagship series are being revealed.
This morning, a phone with the number JAD-AL50 was listed on the Chinese 3C certification. According to our sources, this device might belong to the 4G version of the Huawei P50 series. The same model number has already been spotted on different certification sites in the past.
As mentioned in the certification, the Huawei P50 4G will support the same 66W charger used in the Mate 40 series. Until now, Huawei has provided the chargers along with its phones, so we can expect that this 66W charger will also be shipped along with the phone. The charger supports charging in the following modes: 10W (5V, 2A), 40W (10V, 4A), and 66W (11V, 6A).
As mentioned above, the same model number was also listed on the TENAA, where it was running the Harmony OS.
We already reported that the production of 4G models in the Huawei P50 series will be higher than the 5G variants this time. The Huawei P50 4G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 4G, while the chipset in the 5G version may be different.
We have already reported that this time the Huawei P50 4G will be produced over the P50 5G. The Huawei P50 4G will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 4G, while the 5G version may have a different chipset.
Currently, Huawei is allowed to use Qualcomm 4G chipsets but not 5G chipsets. We can conclude that 4G variants will be cheaper and have almost the same performance.
The Huawei P50 series will be similar to the Honor 50 series design. The phone will consist of the following variants: P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro+, while some other variants, like P50 Lite, will be launched later.
Currently, it is expected that the Huawei P50 series will be launched on July 29.
