Huawei is expected to launch the P50 series at the end of this month. As the release date approaches, more details about the series are gradually being revealed.
This morning, a mobile phone with the model number JAD-AL50 appeared on the 3C certification website. According to sources, the device may belong to the 4G version of the Huawei P50 series. This phone has previously been found on multiple certification websites.
As mentioned in the certification, the Huawei P50 4G will support the same 66W charger as the Mate 40 series. So far, Huawei has always included a charger with its phones, so we expect this 66W charger to be shipped with the phone as well. This charger supports the following charging modes: 10W (5V/2A), 40W (10V/4A), and 66W (11V/6A).
As mentioned above, the same model number was also listed on the TENAA, where it was running the Harmony OS.
We already reported that the production of 4G models in the Huawei P50 series will be higher than the 5G variants this time. The Huawei P50 4G will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 4G, while the 5G version may use a different chipset.
Currently, Huawei is allowed to use the Qualcomm 4G chipsets but not 5G chipsets. We can conclude that the 4G variants will be cheaper and have almost the same performance.
The design of the Huawei P50 series will be similar to that of the Honor 50 series. This series will include the following models: P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro+. Other models, such as the P50 Lite, will be launched later. The Huawei P50 series is expected to be launched on July 29.
