Today, a suspected prototype drawing of the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 5 was revealed, revealing its materials and functional components. The tablet has the codename K82, which belongs to the Xiaomi Pad 5.
It has very thin screen bezels, which seem to be an improvement over the Xiaomi Pad 4. There are two holes at the top, one for the front camera and the other for the brightness sensor.
The tablet also comes with a camera module that is almost identical to the one on the Xiaomi 11. On the left side, there is a dedicated port for connecting a physical keyboard or a protective cover. Apple has long used the same technology to connect an external keyboard to the iPad.
The right side also has a wireless charging port for the stylus marked with nano-injection technology. The volume buttons and power button are also located on the right side.
This tablet has four speakers, two at the top and two at the bottom. There is also a USB Type-C port at the bottom for charging.
According to previous news, the Xiaomi Pad 5 will come in three versions. One of them is the K82, which is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset and a 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to run the latest MIUI 12.5.
