Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Prototype Drawing Leaked

Today, a suspected prototype drawing of the upcoming Mi Pad 5 has been revealed in which the structure of the entire tablet, its material, and its functional components got exposed. It can also be seen that the tablet has the codename K82, which belongs to Mi Pad 5.

On the display side, it can be seen that the screen’s bezels are very thin and also seem improved if compared with the old Mi Pad 4. There are two holes at the top, one for the front camera and the second for the brightness sensor.

The tablet is also equipped with a camera module which is almost the same as in Mi 11 flagship phone. On the left side, we have a dedicated interface that might connect a physical keyboard or a protective cover. Apple has been using the same technology for a long time for connecting an external keyboard to its iPad.

On the right side, we also have a wireless charging port for stylus marked with a nano-injection technology. In addition to that, both volume buttons and the power button are also placed on the right side.

The tablet has four speakers, two of which are located at the top and the other two at the bottom. There is also a USB Type-C port for charging at the bottom.

As per previous news, it is known that Mi Pad 5 will be available in three versions. One of them is K82 (codename) which is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 860 chipset and a 2K resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of software, the latest MIUI 12.5 is expected to be run on this device.

Currently, we have no official information regarding the existence of any new tablet coming from Xiaomi.
