Today, a suspected prototype drawing of the upcoming Mi Pad 5 was revealed, and its material and functional components were exposed. The tablet has the codename K82, which belongs to the Mi Pad 5.
It has a very thin screen bezel, which seems to be an improvement over the Xiaomi Pad 4. There are two holes at the top, one for the front camera and the other for the brightness sensor.
The tablet also comes with a camera module, which is almost identical to the Xiaomi 11. On the left side there is a dedicated port for connecting a physical keyboard or a protective cover. Apple has long used the same technology to connect an external keyboard to the iPad.
The right side also has a wireless charging port for the stylus marked with nano-injection technology. The volume and power buttons are also located on the right side.
The tablet has four speakers, two at the top and the other two at the bottom. It also has a USB Type-C port at the bottom for charging.
According to previous news, the Xiaomi Pad 5 will come in three versions. One of them is the K82, which is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset and a 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to run the latest MIUI 12.5.
At the moment, we have no official information about Xiaomi’s new tablet.
