Samsung has not officially released the Galaxy M31s, but it has been leaked for some time. In the past few days, it was also spotted on Geekbench. This morning, the phone was certified by TUV Rheinland Japan Ltd.

The certified model number is EB-BM317ABY. The letters M317 indicate that this is the Galaxy M31s. The certification shows that the phone will use a 6000 mAh Li-ion battery and support 22.5W fast charging.

According to leaked information, the phone is powered by the Samsung Exynos 9611 chipset. The Exynos 9611 is an octa-core processor built using a 10nm process, featuring four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz. This chipset does not support 5G network connectivity.

On Geekbench, the phone features the same processor and 6GB of RAM. There are also rumors that it comes with 128GB of storage. The phone scored 347 points in the single-core test and 1,256 points in the multi-core test (Geekbench 5.2.0).  Other reports indicate that the phone may use a quad-camera setup on the back.

The Galaxy M31s seems to be a slightly upgraded version of the Galaxy M31. Currently, Samsung has not made an official announcement about this phone.
