Recently, the Galaxy S20 FE has appeared again on certification websites. Today, the phone appeared on the 3C certification website.
3C certification revealed its charging specifications. The Galaxy S20 FE supports only 15W fast charging and can also charge at 10W. Surprisingly, its charging speed is even lower than the Galaxy S10 Lite, which supports 45W fast charging.
This charger is Samsung’s older 15W model (EP-TA200), which the company has long included with its mid-range smartphones. The certification information indicates the device model number is SM-G7810, suggesting it may be the Chinese variant of the Galaxy S20 FE. The phone also supports 5G network connectivity.
The applicant for this certification is Samsung China Investment Co., Ltd. The certification was issued on September 2.
We previously reported that the Galaxy S20 FE will be available in two chip versions: a Qualcomm Snapdragon version (for the Chinese and US markets) and a Samsung Exynos version (for the European and Asian markets). The phone is expected to feature a flat Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also likely to feature a rear triple camera system (12MP, 12MP, 8MP).
Similar to the Apple iPhone 11, this phone will be available in a variety of colors. This phone will also be IP68-certified (dust- and water-resistant).
The Galaxy S20 FE is expected to be launched in the fall of 2020.
