Recently, the latest reports claimed that a new Xiaomi phone model is in development. This morning, a new device appeared on the Chinese MIIT website.
The certification has a model number “M2007J22C”. According to Digital Chat Station, this may be the new Redmi Note 10 series device.
In the MIIT certification, it can be seen that the device’s name is unknown, but it is a 5G supported device. The applicant for this certification is “Xiaomi Communication Technology Co., Ltd.” The certificate is issued in the previous week (on 28th August). The certification didn’t reveal anything more about the phone.
Previously, we already reported that the new Redmi Note10 would be powered by MediaTek’s mid-range chipset “Dimensity 820 5G”. The new Dimensity 820 5G is an octa-core 64-bit chipset based on 7nm production. Moreover, the chipset uses four powerful Cortex-A76 cores clocked at @2.6GHz and four energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at @2.0GHz.
The AI Benchmark of the Redmi Note10 also revealed that the phone would be available in an 8 Gigs RAM variant.
Currently, there is no more information or any official statement regarding the model “M2007J22C”.
