Dell XPS 11 9P33 Disassembly
A few weeks ago, Dell unveiled its XPS 11 9P33 ultrabook. This ultrabook not only features the latest Intel Haswell processor but also comes with a 360-degree flip screen similar to the Lenovo Yoga.
One of the most notable features of this product is its 11.6-inch screen with a resolution of 2560×1440, making it one of the most compelling models on the Haswell platform. Dell officially unveiled this product at the Computex computer show in Taipei.

You need a hex-head screwdriver to remove the screws.
Remove all visible screws from the bottom case.
Open the XPS nameplate, remove the hidden screw.
Pry up and remove the bottom case. There are no clips on the bottom cover, so you can easily remove it.
Under the bottom case, you can access the battery, SSD, wireless card, speakers, CMOS battery, heat sink, cooling fan, and motherboard.
The XPS 11 9P33 comes with a 7.4V, 40Wh Li-polymer battery, Dell part number: DGGGT.
Remove all screws securing the battery.
Disconnect the battery connector. You can remove the battery.
Remove the screws securing the SSD and remove it from the mSATA slot.
This XPS 11 9P33 comes with a Samsung 256GB PM841 mSATA SSD, Dell part number: 0JHRG.
Remove the screw securing the wireless card.
Unplug two antennas. You can remove the wireless card.
The Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 wireless card supports 802.11ac, dual-band, 2×2 Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0.

The memory chip is soldered directly onto the motherboard, so it cannot be upgraded or replaced. Therefore, you should carefully consider the memory size when making a purchase.
Remove the four screws securing the heat sink.
Remove the screw securing the CPU fan.
Disconnect the fan cable from the motherboard.

The Intel Core i5-4210Y 1.5 GHz processor is soldered onto the motherboard. It is integrated with the Intel HD Graphics 4200 GPU.

Disconnect all cables connecting to the motherboard.
Remove all screws securing the motherboard, and then remove the motherboard.
