The OnePlus 9 series is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. This processor uses a 5nm process and is currently the most powerful mobile phone processor; the OnePlus 9 series comes with a new generation of LPDDR5 memory and high-spec UFS 3.1 storage.

The Hasselblad Professional Mode is created for professional users, which can flexibly adjust various parameters such as shutter speed, sensitivity, and white balance and supports peak focus function for fast and accurate focusing.
OnePlus 9 series is confirmed to adopt dual main cameras; one of the main camera lenses will use an IMX789 sensor, which is the most expensive Sony custom sensor in the history of OnePlus. There is also a wide-angle lens that uses the main camera-level ultra-wide IMX766 sensor.
