OnePlus has already confirmed that it is all set to reveal the Dimensity 9000 SoC-powered edition of its recent OnePlus Ace 2. Until now, there is no official launch date has been announced yet. However, the leaks are continuously getting revealed, which hints that the actual launch is very near.
This morning, a new model from OnePlus (having the codename: PHP110) got listed on AnTuTu Benchmark, which belongs to OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition, as per sources.
As mentioned in the benchmark, the new OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition is powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset (already known through the device’s naming) and scored a total of 1,050,521 (1.5 million) points which seems a decent score according to the chipset.
The benchmark score includes the CPU score of 268,340, the GPU (Mali-G710 MC10) score of 399,685, the MEM (memory) score of 195,732, and the UX (120Hz display) score of 186,764. It is worth noting that the benchmark model features 16GB RAM (LPDDR5/5X) and 512GB (UFS 3.1) storage.
The benchmark also revealed that the device runs the latest Android 13 OS.
The chipset used in the new OnePlus Ace 2 DImensity Edition isn’t the latest option from Mediatek, but it still can perform very well. It is based on a 4nm TSMC manufacturing process and consists of the following cores: 1x Cortex-X2 Super Core (@3.05GHz), 3x Cortex-A710 Performance Cores (2.85GHz), and 4x Cortex-A510 Energy-Efficient Cores.
Regarding other specifications, the new OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition will feature a 6.74 inches single centered punch-hole OLED Display that would support a higher 1.5K resolution in addition to a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside the punch-hole, there is a 16MP selfie lens. It is worth mentioning that the display comes with very narrow bezels, as revealed by the blogger @DigitalChatStation.
On the backside, the smartphone would feature a triple camera (64MP+8MP+2MP) setup using two rings camera module design alongside two LED flashes. The entire backside is made up of Silk Glass which provides a stunning starry and matte look at the same time.
The new OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition is expected to launch next month (in March 2023). The sources also stated that this model might be launched as OnePlus Nord 3 in the international market.
