Today, the Galaxy Z Fold3 has received TENAA certification, revealing some key specifications. The certification includes the model SM-F9260, which appears to be the Chinese version of the Galaxy Z Fold3.
As stated in the certification, the Galaxy Z Fold3 will have a 6.2-inch display. The documents do not specify whether this screen is the outer or inner display, but the size suggests that it is likely the outer screen. As a foldable phone, it inevitably has two screens.
The dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold3 have also been mentioned: 128.1 x 158.2 x 6.4 mm. It is further observed that the Galaxy Z Fold3 will be slimmer than its predecessor (Galaxy Z Fold2, with a thickness of 6.9 mm).
Its battery capacity has also been mentioned. It will come with dual batteries: 2155 mAh and 2345 mAh. The total battery capacity is 4500 mAh, which seems to be a typical value, while the rating is expected to be bigger, as its predecessor came with the same capacity battery.
Previous reports indicated that the Galaxy Z Fold3 will feature a redesigned camera module. This camera will have a vertical arrangement with three lenses. In addition, the front camera is expected to be placed under the display.
The phone will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. The chipset is built on a 5nm process and has a Cortex-X1 super core. In addition, both the internal and external displays will support a 120Hz refresh rate. There will also be support for S Pen connectivity, which may also come with the phone out of the box.
The Galaxy Z Flip3 (SM-F7110) has also appeared on TENAA, but there is no information about dimensions, battery, or other specifications.
The phone is expected to be announced alongside the Z Flip3 at the upcoming UNPACKED event (likely to be held on August 11).
