Today, the Galaxy Z Fold3 has been listed on the TENAA certification, which revealed some key specifications. The certification includes the model SM-F9260, which seems to be the Chinese version of the Galaxy Z Fold3.
As mentioned in the certification, the Galaxy Z Fold3 will have a 6.2-inch display. There is no mention of whether it will be a cover display or a foldable display, but the size suggests that it should be a cover display. Since it is a foldable phone, the number of displays will definitely be 2.
The dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold3 have also been mentioned: 128.1 x 158.2 x 6.4 mm. It is further observed that the Galaxy Z Fold3 will be slimmer than its predecessor (Galaxy Z Fold2, with a thickness of 6.9 mm).
The battery capacity of the Galaxy Z Fold3 has also been mentioned. It will come with dual batteries: 2155mAh and 2345mAh. The total battery capacity is 4500mAh, which seems to be a typical value, while the rating is expected to be bigger, as its predecessor came with the same capacity battery.
As previously reported, the Galaxy Z Fold3 will feature a redesigned camera module. This time, the cameras will be arranged in raised vertical lines, and there will be three lenses. In addition, the front camera is expected to be placed below the display.
The phone will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The chipset is based on a 5nm manufacturing process and has a Cortex-X1 super core. In addition, both the internal and external displays will feature a 120Hz refresh rate. There will also be support for S Pen connectivity, which may also come with the phone out of the box.
The Galaxy Z Flip3 (SM-F7110) has also appeared on TENAA, but there is no information about dimensions, battery, or other specifications.
The phone is expected to be announced alongside the Z Flip3 at the upcoming UNPACKED event (likely to be held on August 11th).
