ZTE Blade A3 with facial recognition support launched for approximately $121

This afternoon, ZTE officially launched the ZTE Blade A3 in Beijing. The biggest highlight of this phone is its selfie feature.

The ZTE Blade A3 uses a plastic material and has an antenna added at the top of the back of the phone. The body dimensions are 152.4 x 75.8 x 8.2 mm, and it weighs 164g. The smartphone is available in three color options: Basalt Black, Ice Blue, and Blue, and it also supports facial recognition. ZTE officially announced that its facial recognition unlock speed is under 1 second.

The Blade A3 features a 5.5-inch TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz MediaTek MT3737T processor. The phone features a dual-camera setup with a 5MP sensor and a 2MP sensor on the front, as well as a 13MP rear camera. It comes with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a built-in 4000mAh battery.

The phone is priced at CNY 799 (approximately $121), and the pre-orders have started today. It will be officially on sale on November 6.
