A few days before, it was reported that Honor was working on its Honor 100 series. Even some models from that lineup also got listed on different certification sites. However, it seems that the officials are now making a plan to make this series available officially.
This morning, Honor officially announced that the all-new Honor 100 series will be launched on November 23. In the official announcement, the official has posted a teaser in which the appearance of both models can also be observed. These models adopt much different design from predecessor models.
Starting from the Pro model, it adopts an oval-shaped camera bump in which three camera modules are inserted. The primary one is a 50MP lens, which also supports OIS. The entire backside consists of two-tone colors in which one half is lightly colored, and the other has a dark color with some design as well.
Next, we have the standard Honor 100; this model seems to have a plain backside. However, the camera layout this model has comes in a different design layout. In this model, the camera bump is half-circle shaped and consists of two camera modules inside it.
As previously reported, the all-new Honor 100 would consist of a total of three models: Honor 100, Honor 100 Pro, and Honor 100 GT. It is expected that the Honor 100 GT might be launched later, and there would be no lite model.
In other aspects, the top-end model in the Honor 100 series is reported to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset. The chipset isn’t the latest one, but it still comes with robust specifications. It is based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process and consists of Cortex-X3 Super Core and Adreno 740 GPU.
In the coming days, Honor might reveal the significant highlights of the Honor 100 series until the launch event.
