In March 2023, Tenco introduced its Tecno Spark 10 series, which includes different models targeting the budget to mid-range segment consumer. In this series, the company also introduced a model named Tecno Spark 10C, which was the base model of the entire lineup. As per the latest development from the industry, the company is now working on the successor of this model.
This morning, a new model named “Tecno Spark 20C” was listed on the Google Play Console listing, revealing the appearance and specifications of the device as well. The device carries the model number TECNO-BG7n.
As mentioned in the certification, the Tecno Spark 20C features a single-centered punch-hole flat display that would support 720p resolution and 320dpi. It may also support a 90Hz refresh rate as the predecessor model also has the same resolution display but with a v-shaped notch.
In terms of chipset, this model would be powered by the Helio P35 chipset from MediaTek. The chipset is a lower-end chipset based on a 16nm manufacturing process and was introduced back in 2018. It features 8x Cortex-A53, in which four of them are clocked @2.3GHz while the rest are clocked @1.8GHz. The CPU is also integrated with PowerVR GE8320 GPU (clocked @680MHz).
In addition to all these, the smartphone is also equipped with 4GB RAM and is running on the Android 13 OS. If compared with the predecessor model, a significant improvement in the performance is expected.

At the moment, the launch date of Tecno Spark 20C is not known. However, this certification denotes that the actual launch isn’t that much far.
