iPhone 15 Series Glass Panel Exposed: Narrow Bezels + Dynamic Island on All Models

Apple is expected to reveal its new iPhone 15 series after six months (in September 2023). However, until now, the design of upcoming models has totally been revealed. Even the supply chain has begun preparations for mass production.

This morning, some sources from the Chinese blogging website revealed the glass panel images of Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 series. The first thing observed is that Apple will feature its Dynamic Island Design on its entire iPhone 15 series. Last time, only the Pro models (in iPhone 14 series) featured the Dynamic Island Panel.

The entire system has been changed to 2.5D arc edge processing (unlike the previous models). It is also observed that the new models still used a curved frame, while the front frame seems to have a slight increase in curvature, consistent with previous revelations and leaks.

The video also confirmed a rumor that the Pro models would feature narrow bezels (if compared with iPhone 14 Pro models) while the standard models will have the same panel as the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max; no noticeable change is observed.

However, the screen size in iPhone 15 Pro seems to be smaller than the previous model, as the length and width are reduced by around 0.5mm. Due to narrower bezels, it is also expected that the Pro models in iPhone 15 lineups may have a similar design to the Apple Watch series 7 and series 8, as rumors stated.

It was also reported that the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max would feature a titanium alloy frame for the first time instead of stainless steel (used in iPhone 12 Pro and onward Pro models). In addition, the volume and lock buttons will feature Haptic Touch just like the 3D Home Button (in iPhone 7 and later Touch ID-supported iPhone models).
