Meizu is all set to release its Meizu 20 Pro officially. Until now, the officials haven’t revealed the exact launch date. However, the officials have announced that the launch event will take place in Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Cultural Center, and the recruitment channel for Meizu will open on March 14.
This morning, Meizu (on Weibo) officially revealed the complete specifications of its Meizu 20 Pro. As mentioned, the new Meizu 20 Pro will feature a 2K resolution Samsung’s E6 AMOLED LTPO Display which supports 120Hz (1-120Hz) adaptive refresh rate and 1800nits peak brightness.
Regarding the battery, it will feature a 5000mAh ultra-durable battery that can be fully charged and discharged for 1600 straight days; the battery health would still be greater than 80%. Further, it can give a battery backup of 12.3 hours on highly intense usage.
In terms of charging, the Meizu 20 Pro comes with the 50W Super mCharge Wireless charger, which can charge 80% battery in 30 minutes and the entire battery in 45 minutes.
The smartphone also features UWB Ultra-Wideband Technology, which can help in realizing precise search of vehicles and accessories. For the first time in the industry, it would feature CCC3.0 standard UWB car key function and centimeter-level non-inductive car entry with more accuracy and safety.
Previously, it was also revealed that the Meizu 20 Pro would be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset, based on a 4nm manufacturing process and consists of the following cores: 1x Cortex-X2 Super Core (@3.05GHz), 2x Cortex-A715 and 2x Cortex-A710 P-Cores (@2.5GHz) and 3x Cortex-A510 E-Cores (@2.0GHz). In addition, the Meizu 20 Pro also features LPDDR5x memory and UFS 4.0 storage.
Currently, the launch date for Meizu 20 series isn’t announced by the officials.
