A few days ago, Lenovo officially revealed that the company would launch the all-new YOGA Pad Pro on May 25. Today, the company has officially launched the all-new tablet.
The Lenovo YOGA Pad Pro comes in a unique design, as can be seen. The tablet features a 13 inches display with a prominent speakers bar at the bottom, which consists of the charging port.
It can also be seen that there is a stand which can help the tablet to stand. While the tablet is standing at the position shown in the image, it would be easy for consumers to use it like laptops. Due to the bottom speaker bar, it can be said that the laptop is not good in terms of being portable.
The display sizes about 13 inches and has a 2160*1350p resolution. It is a high brush screen with 100% sRGB high color gamut and 400nits of brightness. The display also supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision. It is also certified from TUV Rheinland in Low Blue Light Certification.
It is powered by the sub-flagship chipset of Qualcomm, Snapdragon 870. The chipset is based on the 7nm manufacturing process and can also be called the over-clocked version of the Snapdragon 865 series.
The new tablet is also equipped with a 10000mAh battery and supports Quick Charging 4 Technology. It uses a USB Type-C port which can be seen at the corner of the speaker bar. The Type-C port further supports video output and OTG connection.
In terms of speaker specifications, the speakers are JBL branded with a total power of 9W. It has a significant amplitude, 5cc large sound cavity, and crossover design and further supports intelligent boost of speaker power with Dolby Atmos.
The tablet features a reel-type exterior design in terms of physical build and uses environmentally friendly materials (used for Alcantara sports car interiors). It also got CNC-body shaped stainless steel bracket.
The officials also mentioned that it could be turned into a portable display. The tablet supports HDMI video input, can be connected to a computer or mobile game console, also got a built-in OSD for easy adjustment of brightness and volume. Moreover, the display ratio can be switched between 16:9 and 16:10.
The tablet also got multi-form free switching YOGA True color. It has an exquisite multifunctional bracket at 160deg, which can be flip to expand usage scenarios and supports 4096 pressure-sensitive handwriting with an optional stylus.
In terms of software, the YOGA Pad Pro runs on ZUI 12.5 based on Android 11. The new tablet is priced at 3299 yuan ($515) with 8GB RAM (LPDDR5) and 256 Gigs of storage (UFS 3.0). The buyers can pre-order the new tablet from 10 PM (Chinese Timing).
