Honor V40’s TPU Case Leaked, Confirmed The Camera Design

It was reported that the launch of Honor’s upcoming V40 series had been delayed. The company even opened the pre-orders of this series in its major offline channel stores.

Today, the famous Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station has revealed another leak regarding the upcoming Honor V40 series. The blogger revealed the TPU case image of the Honor V40 series, which confirmed the camera’s appearance.

It seems like the camera has the same lens arrangement as the Huawei Nova8 Pro. The only difference is that the Nova8 Pro has an oval-shaped camera bump, while it has a rectangle (sharp sides) bump.

It is also observed that there may be a headphone jack at the top-right, above the cameras.

As per previous reports, the Honor V40 series is expected to come with a 120Hz Display, further supporting the 300Hz touch sampling rate. The MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ is also expected to be featured in this phone.

It is confirmed that all the smartphones in Honor’s V40 series would support the same 66W charging as in Huawei’s Mate40 and Nova8 series. The wireless charging support up to 45 Watts is also expected there as well.

In terms of camera, it is expected that the standard Honor V40 series will be equipped with a 50MP lens; the Pro version will have a triple camera lens, while the Pro+ version will have a quad-camera lens.

Currently, the expected launch date for the Honor V40 is January 12. However, it has been confirmed that the V40 series will be available before the end of this month.
