Yesterday, we reported that iQOO (the sub-brand of Vivo) is working on its upcoming iQOO Z7 series. Even one of the devices (iQOO Z7i) from the upcoming lineup got listed on the Google Play Console site yesterday. However, today, we got another leak regarding the standard model of this lineup.
This morning, the all-new iQOO Z7 (with model number vivo V2270A) got listed on the Geekbench site, revealing the chipset, RAM capacity, and device performance.
As per sources, the equipped chipset is the Snapdragon 782G from Qualcomm, which belongs to the Snapdragon 7 series and is the best option.
In terms of specifications, the chipset is based on a 6nm manufacturing process and features the following cores: 1x Cortex-A78 Performance Core (clocked @2.71GHz), 3x Cortex-A78 Performance Cores (clocked @2.4GHz) and 4x Cortex-A55 Energy-efficient cores (clocked @1.8GHz).
The smartphone has 8 Gigs of RAM and runs on the latest Android 13. In addition, on Geekbench 5, it scored 876 points on Single-Core and 2,956 on Multi-Core. While on Geekbench 6, the single-core score is 1,128, and the multi-core score is 3,025 points.
From the scores, it can be judged that the performance is up to the standards of a premium mid-range smartphone.
It is worth mentioning that the smartphone has already been announced in India but with a different chipet, i.e., Dimensity 920. The listed version (on Geekbench, powered by Snapdragon 782G) might be launched as a global or Chinese model. Further, it might have different specs and designs.
