It was reported that OPPO might introduce a new model in its K series. But today, OPPO has officially announced on their official Weibo account that the company will launch a new model in its K-Series, named OPPO K9, coming on May 6.
From naming, it is expected that the all-new OPPO K9 will be the most strong smartphone from OPPO’s K-Series. The officials have revealed that the device would support 65W flash charging, the strongest flash charger of the K-series.
The officials also said that the phone could be used for 2 hours (at a black screen) with just 5 minutes of charging. It can be concluded that using the dark mode on this smartphone may help us to get excellent battery timing.
In the launch poster, the backside of OPPO K9 is also mentioned. The phone got a prominent branding of “09-K Super Performance.” In terms of camera, the phone is equipped with a triple camera sensor, in which the primary sensor is a 64MP lens.
The overall design is silver-gray, and there is a rainbow line between the camera and the flash. As the device will be the top model of OPPO’s K-series, we can also expect a sub-flagship like Snapdragon 870 or Dimensity 1100.
Previously, it was reported that OPPO has secretly launched a new product reservation page recently, showing that the new OPPO Enco Air headset will also be released on May 6. The headset supports Bluetooth 5.2, adopts an in-ear design, and is available in black and white.
The all-new OPPO K9 will be launched on May 6 at 3 PM (Chinese Timing).
