Two days before, a new model from OPPO’s K9 series (OPPO K9s) got leaked. But all the renders and specifications of the device were from unofficial sources. This morning, OPPO has officially announced the existence of the all-new OPPO K9s and further revealed the launch date.
As mentioned in the official announcement, the new OPPO K9s will be announced on October 20 at 2 PM (Chinese timing). The official appearance of the device can also be observed in the poster. The new OPPO K9s features the same K9 Series camera design, including three lenses.
The phone would be available for sale on 11.11 (the years’ biggest online sale) with a price of less than 2000 yuan.
Previously, it was reported that the smartphone would feature a 6.59 inches Single Punch-Hole LCD Display, which features Full-HD+ resolution and a six-speed variable 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the OPPO K9s would also be powered by the latest Snapdragon 778G chipset, currently the most premium chipset in the mid-range segment.
The phone would also feature a 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging. The smartphone features a triple camera setup (64MP+8MP+2MP) on the backside, while there would be a single 16MP lens in the front punch-hole.
Only the RAM variants (6GB and 8GB) are known at the moment, while the storage options are unknown. It is expected that officials will reveal more highlights regarding the upcoming device before the launch.
