There is a high probability that you might get into some trouble while using the keyboard on your laptop because some keys are not working or need to be pressed very hard. If the problem doesn’t get fixed even after servicing it, then we recommend you replace it with a Genuine Keyboard for Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme 4th Gen and ThinkPad P1 Gen 4.

The keyboard comes with a US layout and supports a backlight. Moreover, it doesn’t come with the C-Cover (Palm Rest)

Specifications:
Layout: US (Small Enter Key)
Backlit: Yes
Color: Black
Condition: Original, brand new
Warranty: One (1) Year

Compatible Laptops:
ThinkPad X1 Extreme 4th Gen
ThinkPad P1 Gen 4

Replacement tips:
1. Remove the existing keyboard to compare the correct part number, photo, and description.
2. Before replacing the keyboard, you need to disable the built-in battery from BIOS or remove it (if possible) in order to prevent the laptop from generating static current and causing damage to the motherboard.
3. If you have no experience in extensive laptop repair, then we recommend you not replace it by yourself. Concerning a technician is a far better option.
4. If you are doing the repair by yourself, we recommend you download the hardware maintenance manual from Lenovo’s official website and then follow the instructions.

I am looking for a UK keyboard for this laptop, do you have it? Ben L asked on June 2, 2022

We have the UK keyboard for this laptop, but please confirm your original keyboard type before purchasing, the enter key of the UK keyboard is L-shaped, which is different from the US English keyboard.
