Today, Digital Chat Station revealed that it got an engineering prototype, but did not mention the model number or device name.
Judging from the recent news and netizens’ responses, the prototype is expected to be the Xiaomi 11 Pro.
Although the blogger got the real machine, the device’s back was completely covered to keep the secret, so the lens layout was not visible.
He mentions that the main camera of the engineering prototype is equivalent to around 50MP with a 4-in-1 conversion, while the telephoto lens shows 12MP. He also said he wasn’t sure if it was a 12MP or a 4-in-1 48MP lens.
It is worth noting that although a 50MP lens is not common in smartphones, only the Huawei P40 featured a 50MP main camera (RYYB, 23mm, F1.9).
It was previously reported that the Xiaomi 11 Pro series is expected to adopt a single punch-hole screen. The screen has a resolution of 3200 x 1440 and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
This phone is also expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset. Other features, such as MEMC video frame supplement technology, real-time SDR to HDR video conversion, and super-resolution video, are also expected to be included in the phone.
