Today, the famous Chinese digital blogger @Digital Chat Station has revealed that he got an engineering machine/prototype, but he didn’t mention the model or any device name.
Judging from the style of recent news and netizens’ responses, the prototype is expected to be the next flagship model of Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro.
Although the blogger got the real machine, the machine’s back was completely covered to keep the secret, so the actual machine’s lens arrangement was not visible.
He mentioned that the engineering machine’s primary camera is equivalent to about 50MP by 4-in-1 conversion, while the telephoto lens shows 12MP. He also said that he is unsure if it is a straight 12MP lens or a 4-in-1 48MP lens.
According to him, the model in his hand is a high-end version of the prototype, the standard version is still unknown, but it can be observed that the lens combination CIS is likely to be different. The primary camera of the machine is a super-outsole model.
It is observed that although 50 MP lenses are not ordinary in smartphones, Huawei’s P40 previously used a 50-megapixel (RYYB, 23mm, F1.9 aperture) primary lens.
Previously, it is also reported that the new Mi 11 Pro series is expected to feature a single punch-hole (at left-side) display. The display would feature a Quad-HD+ (3200x1440p) resolution and refresh rate up to 120Hz.
The upcoming chipset from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 875, is also expected to be featured in this phone. Some other features like MEMC video frame supplement technology, real-time SDR to HDR supporting video, and super-resolution video is also expected to be featured in the phone.
The all-new Mi 11 series is expected to be launched in December 2020.
