OnePlus Clover With Bluetooth 5.1 Got Bluetooth SIG Certification

Today, a new device from OnePlus has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification site. The device has a model number – BE2012. As per reports, this is OnePlus’s upcoming mid-range device, named OnePlus Clover.

It can be seen that the all-new OnePlus Clover is running the latest version of Bluetooth, Bluetooth 5.1. The Bluetooth certification usually reveals almost nothing about any smartphone. The model number “BE2012” directly confirmed that this would be the OnePlus Clover.

In the certification, it can also be seen that the applicant for this certification is “OnePlus Technology (Shenzhen) Company Limited.” The launch date of this Bluetooth certification is 18 November 2020 (today).

Previously, it was reported that the all-new OnePlus Clover would feature a 6.52 Inches Display with HD+ Resolution (maybe 1600x720p). Moreover, through the Geekbench, it was also revealed that this device would feature the mid-range chipset of Qualcomm, Snapdragon 460.

The all-new Snapdragon 460 is an octa-core chipset based on 11nm production. The chipset has a maximum frequency of 1.8GHz and uses Adreno 610 GPU. The chipset confirmed that this phone wouldn’t feature the 5G network connectivity support.

It was also revealed that this smartphone would feature a triple camera setup on the backside with a primary 13MP sensor. There would be a 6000mAh battery inside the phone, which would support fast charging up to 18W. A fingerprint scanner on the backside is also expected to be featured.

It can be observed that the phone’s pricing would be similar to Oppo A33, as their specifications are almost the same.
