After the launch of Samsung’s new flagship devices (including Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Tab S9, and Watch 6), Samsung is looking forward to starting the development phase of the Galaxy S24 series. Recently, we got a major leak that hints that Samsung is already working on the next generation of the Galaxy S24 series.
This afternoon, a new model from Samsung, SM-S926U, got listed on Geekbench 6, revealing the benchmark scores and some basic specs of the device. As per the model number, the device is the US variant of Galaxy S24+ (as the U in the model number represents the US).
As can be seen, the Galaxy S24+ is powered by a Quad-Core chipset which is Snapdragon 8 Gen3, as per rumors. The chipset has 1x Ultra-Core (clocked @3.30GHz), 3x P-Cores (clocked @3.15GHz), 2x P-Cores (clocked @2.96GHz) and 2x E-Cores (clocked @2.27GHz). As per our knowledge, these cores are 1x Cortex-X4 core, 2x Cortex-A720 cores, 3x Cortex-A720 cores, and 2x Cortex-A520 cores.
The chipset has scored 2,233 points on Single-Core and 6,661 points on Multi-Core. If compared with Galaxy S23+, a significant difference can be observed. The Galaxy S23+ has the highest score of 1,866 points on Single-Core and 4,945 on Multi-Core (Geekbench 6). It is also expected that the actual device would have different benchmark scores.

The Geekbench also mentions that the Galaxy S24+ is equipped with 8 Gigs of RAM, which feels slightly lower. The base variant’s RAM capacity should be around 12GB. Moreover, the Galaxy S24+ has the codename “pineapple.” Regarding the Exynos variant, there is a significantly lower chance that Samsung will use its chipset in the upcoming Galaxy S24 series.
The information regarding the all-new Samsung Galaxy S24 series is very low. However, more information is expected to be revealed in the coming days.
