MSI has continuously refined the Stealth series over the years, and this trend continues with this model. The laptop retains all the aesthetics of the Stealth series but with slight changes in appearance. It weighs around 1.99kg with a thickness of over 16mm (354*246*16.65-19.99mm).
The MSI Stealth 16 AI+ 2026 remains remarkably portable considering the hardware inside. Its black color (Charcoal Black) on the aluminum surface feels very premium, and the all-metal build provides excellent rigidity.
Overall, the laptop avoids the aggressive styling commonly associated with gaming laptops. Key elements like clean surfaces, minimal branding, and subtle design make it equally comfortable in any sector, whether it is an office, studio, or gaming setup.

In addition, it has all the basic certifications (SGS Eye Care Display and True Black 600), which make it less harmful to the eyes during long-term use.

To learn more about the display, we used the Spyder X. In the brightness test, we got the following results:

The benchmark results showed that the display covers a wide color gamut, making the game experience appear richer, more vibrant, and more visually engaging. Combined with OLED contrast, darker scenes also look deeper and more atmospheric, which enhances immersion in cinematic AAA games.
In terms of color accuracy, the display performed well again. With the factory’s calibration, the display recorded an average ΔE (Delta E) value of 0.52 and a maximum ΔE of 2.12, which is excellent for a laptop screen.
This level of accuracy is close to professional monitor standards, meaning colors appear natural and reliable without needing extra calibration. For content creators, this makes the display suitable for tasks like photo editing, graphic design, and video color grading, while gamers can also benefit from more accurate and visually pleasing colors.

Under the display, we have a 4-zone RGB gaming keyboard surrounded by speakers. It adds a nice touch of customization without making the laptop too flashy. Under the keyboard, we have a large-sized touchpad that gives the user more space for navigation and gestures. The overall experience was quite smooth and responsive, making everyday tasks like browsing, scrolling, and multitasking more convenient.

Battery and Charging
The MSI Stealth 16 AI+ is equipped with a 4-cell 90WHr battery, a large battery despite the slim profile. With this high capacity, we can expect a full day of battery life if the laptop is used for light tasks such as browsing, writing, watching videos, and office work. The addition of Intel’s all-new Panther Lake platform also plays an important role, helping deliver better battery efficiency through its new low-power core architecture. However, any laptop with these specs and an OLED display would be unrealistic to use for gaming without a charger.
For charging, the company has provided a 240W (20V/12A) AC adaptor. The charger is quite heavy, which can also affect the portability. To resolve this, users can also use PD charging, which supports up to 100W (20V/5A), and it is quite small and lightweight.
RAM and SSD
The variant we are reviewing comes with 32GB of RAM and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Starting with the RAM, this 32GB is Dual-Channel memory (2x16GB sticks) at 5600MHz. It is worth noting that the notebook supports memory frequencies up to 7200 MHz. On the other hand, we have a 2TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD that delivers fast boot times, faster file transfers, and smoother application and game loading.
As mentioned on the official site, the laptop supports up to 128 GB of RAM at 7200 MHz. If you want higher RAM capacity, you can choose up to 96 GB when purchasing from the official website. In the storage section, the company has provided two M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD slots, allowing users to upgrade storage without replacing the existing drives. Overall, the RAM and SSD upgrade options are quite good.
Audio and Webcam
The sound system includes two 2W speakers and two 2W woofers, providing a fuller audio setup (with crystal-clear detail and deep bass) than regular laptop speakers. It is Hi-Res Audio-ready and comes with the Nahimic 3 audio enhancer, which improves sound clarity and creates a more immersive listening experience. In addition, its built-in array microphone helps capture clearer audio during video conferencing and gaming chats.
On top of the display, we have an IR FHD webcam that can record 1080p resolution at 30 fps. Not only that, but the webcam also supports HDR and 3D Noise Reduction, helping video calls look clearer even in different lighting conditions. The manufacturer has also included a physical webcam shutter with the camera module, allowing users to manually block the camera when not in use.
CPU Benchmark
The MSI Stealth 16 AI+ is powered by the Core Ultra 9 386H, along with NVIDIA’s RTX 5070 Ti GPU. This is the only option available in this model, while the variants differ only in memory and storage. The benchmark results of the GPU are as follows:

Overall, the benchmark scores showed that the MSI Stealth 16 AI+ can deliver strong performance in every area. Gaming
As it is a gaming laptop, the review would be incomplete without a proper gaming test, so we picked up some of the latest AAA-tier games to see how the MSI Stealth 16 AI performs.
Delta Force 2025: At 2.5K resolution and ultra-high graphics settings, we got an average of 180 fps.
Forza Horizon 5: At the same resolution, extreme presets, and DLSS in balanced mode, we got 175 fps.
Cyberpunk 2077: At 2.5K resolution, with the highest graphics settings, ray tracing enabled at the highest level, DLSS in balanced mode, and 4x Frame Generation, we achieved an average of 176 fps.
These results show that although this laptop belongs to the lightweight gaming laptop category, it still has enough power to run all the latest AAA games smoothly at high graphics settings. In every game, even at 2.5K resolution and high graphics settings, this laptop delivers a smooth gaming experience.
Cooling System
According to officials, the MSI Stealth 16 AI+ comes with an upgraded cooling system based on ‘Intra Flow Design’ to manage heat more efficiently. This system directs cooler air directly to the CPU and GPU, helping the main components stay cooler during heavy workloads.
The heat dissipation system consists of a dual-fan cooling setup, multiple air channels, and exhaust paths, so the heat can be dissipated more quickly. Another major aspect is the use of phase-change thermal material, which offers better heat transfer than regular thermal paste. This helps improve long-term stability and allows the CPU and GPU to perform more consistently.
Stress Testing
To conduct the stress test, we used AIDA64 and FurMark together to stress both the CPU and GPU simultaneously. After almost 20 minutes of testing, the average power consumption was 155W (including 50W for the CPU and 105W for the GPU). Regarding the measured temperatures, the GPU reached 87°C, while the CPU reached 77°C.
Overall, the temperature control was excellent, showing that high performance can still be achieved in light and thin notebooks.
