Previously, Google announced its new Pixel smartphones: Pixel 4a and Pixel 5, which were confirmed to feature 5G connectivity. But no specs were revealed (for Pixel 5) in that announcement. But as the time of launch is coming near, more leaks are occurring.
Today (on 11th August), the upcoming Google Pixel 5 got spotted on AI Benchmarks that reveal a little bit regarding the next phone. The new Pixel 5 will feature Qualcomm’s latest mid-to-high range chipset “Snapdragon 765G” with 8 Gigs of RAM.
The latest chipset, “Snapdragon 765G,” is an octa-core 5G chipset based on 7nm production. The chipset also consists of an Adreno 620 GPU. The new phone may not be a flagship phone as the chipset is from the mid-range category. But still, it provides very excellent performance with high efficiency.
Google has also announced its Pixel 4a with a price of 499 USD, which points to us that the new Pixel 5 may cost 100 USD more as the chipset is also not very expensive. Moreover, in the launch event, Google has announced that it will launch the phone in the fall of 2020.
Currently, there is no more information regarding the specifications and other things on the phone.
