Honor X30 Live Photos Leaked: Center Punch-Hole and New Camera Module Design

It was reported that Honor would reveal the successor of its Honor X series on December 16, named Honor X30. But until now, the appearance of the device was unknown. This morning, Honor has solved this mystery by revealing the first appearance of Honor X30.

In an official announcement (warm-up post) on Weibo, Honor has officially shown the renders of its Honor X30. Compared with the previous Honor X20 series, the new Honor X30 has significant design changes. At the same time, a well-known digital blogger also leaked 4 real pictures of this phone.

First of all, the display now features a single center punch-hole, downgraded from a dual camera (in Honor X20). The display’s bezels are ultra-thin and narrow, making a good larger screen experience. We have the same circle-shaped camera module on the backside but with significant changes.

The camera lenses are still three and are placed in a matrix inside the circle. The company has named it Star-Ring Design. Moreover, it can also be seen in the poster that this model would be available in three colors: Gold, Shiny Blue, Black and White.

As per previous information, the new Honor X30 is expected to be powered by the all-new Snapdragon 695 5G mid-range chipset, an upgraded version of Snapdragon 690. The chipset is based on the TSMC 6nm process and features the Adreno 619 GPU. The chipset also features 2* Cortex-A78 cores (clocked@ 2.2GHz). Reports also claimed that the display would be an LCD Display with higher refresh rate support (up to 120Hz).

Currently, the detailed specifications of the Honor X30 are unknown.
