Lenovo Legion Y90 Specifications Revealed: Snapdragon 8 Gen1, 18 GB RAM, and Many More

A month ago, the 3C Certification site revealed that Lenovo is working on a new gaming phone under the Legion branding (gaming sub-brand of Lenovo). Moreover, the other leaks also suggested that the phone would be named Lenovo Legion Y90. Recently, some more developments have been revealed regarding the upcoming device.

This afternoon, @Lin Lin-A Little White Rabbit (Product Director of Motorola/Lenovo) has uploaded two screenshots of Legion Y90, showing all the main specifications of the device. The director also mentioned that he forgot to have the testing device in his bag, and after 8 days, only 22% charge got down.

Not only that, but the device also maintained a temperature of 19 Celsius degree which denotes that the heat dissipation is going to be super. In the second screenshot, the complete specifications are mentioned.

The new Legion Y90 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset, based on a 4nm manufacturing process, and consists of the all-new Cortex-X2 Super Core, the X65 5G modem, and Adreno 730 GPU. In addition, the device also got a storage combination of 22GB LPDDR5 RAM (18GB+4GB Extendable) and 640GB UFS 3.1 + SSD (512GB+128GB) Storage.

In terms of display, we got a 144Hz AMOLED (6.9 inches size) Display Panel, which also supports a higher 720Hz touch sampling rate. The Legion Y90 also features a large 5600mAh battery with 68W fast charging. For heat dissipation, the device uses a dual-fan and dual-fin liquid cooling technology. The device also got highlights like Dolby Atmos support, 2×2 shoulder buttons, and the latest ZUI 13 OS.

As per the previous warm-up posts, it was revealed that the new Legion Y90 adopts a cooling structure of dual fans and fins. The temperature difference between the inlet and outlet air can go up to only 25 degrees Celsius. Moreover, the active cooling provides an additional performance release of around 4W.

If we talk about the launch, recently, the officials said that the time for the press conference would be announced after the arrival of the mobile units.
