In this guide, I’ll explain how to disassemble Meizu MX5 to remove the display assembly, battery, camera, speaker and motherboard. Refer to this guide. You can repair your Meizu MX5.

First of all, remove the SIM card tray.

Open the display assembly with a suction cup.
The display assembly is connected to the phone body by a soft cable.

Meizu MX5 use a super AMOLED display.

Disconnect the cable.
Remove two screws securing the fixator. You can remove the fingerprint recognition home button.

Remove all screws securing the motherboard.

Meizu MX5’s speaker and vibrator

Remove the motherboard.

Flash + infrared emitter module

Rear camera and front camera

All the chips were covered by metal shields.
