It is said that MediaTek will release its all-new mid-range chips- the Helio P40 and the Helio P70 soon. Today, a Chinese weibo user has exposed a screenshot of the Helio P70’s score on AnTuTu.
From the exposed picture, the Helio P70 chip has got 156,906 scores on AnTuTu. Its score has greatly outnumbered the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660’s. Therefore, it is much likely to compete with Qualcomm’s latest mid-range Snapdragon 670 processor to be launched soon. But it is still unknown which will have better performance among two processors.
MediaTek Helio P70 chip is expected to be built on TSMC’ 12nm manufacturing process. The chip is expected to consist of four A73 cores up to 2.5GHz and four A53 scores up to 2.0GHz. The chip’s GPU is expected to be 800MHz Mali-G72 MP4. It is estimated to be on sale in the second quarter of this year.
