Motorola Edge X30 Officially Confirmed To Feature Snapdragon 8 Gen1 Chipset: Coming On December 9

After the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset goes official, the companies are announcing the first batch of their smartphones powered by this chipset. This morning, Motorola also unveiled the first-ever warm post regarding its upcoming flagship model, powered by the same chipset.

Motorola has revealed (on Weibo) that the company will launch the long-rumored Motorola Edge X30 in the upcoming product launch event on December 9. Another major thing said was that this model would feature the new Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset.

Except for this, the official warm-up post hasn’t revealed any other major highlight of the device. If we talk about the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset, it features the new Cortex-X2, Cortex-A710, and Cortex-A510 cores. Moreover, it is based on the latest Samsung’s 4nm manufacturing process.

As per previous sources, the new Motorola Edge X30 will feature a 6.67 inches OLED Display that supports Full-HD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The device would weigh 201g, which seems slightly higher. The thickness of the device is 8.4mm, which is okay with this body weight.

In terms of camera, the Motorola Edge X30 will feature a triple camera (50MP+50MP+2MP) setup in a rectangle-shaped camera module, while on the front side, there would be a single 60MP lens. Inside the phone, a 4700mAh Battery has been used, which would support 68.2W charging.

When it comes to storage, the Motorola Edge X30 will start from the 8+128GB Storage variant, and the maximum would be 12+256GB (LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage combination). It is expected that Motorola will release many more highlights in the upcoming days.
